My approach
Therapy is a space for you to slow down
I see therapy as a space where you can slow down enough to understand what is really happening underneath everything you have been carrying.
A lot of women come to therapy looking for answers, tools, or somebody to tell them exactly what to do. But my work is not really about giving you a script to follow or another list of things you should be doing better.
I believe women usually already know much more than they think they do.
The problem is that when we are exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected from ourselves, or constantly focused on everyone else, it becomes very hard to hear ourselves clearly.
Part of my work is helping you reconnect with yourself again.
I help women understand what may be happening underneath the stress, frustration, guilt, overwhelm, conflict, or disconnection they are experiencing right now. Sometimes the issue is not only the thing happening on the surface. Sometimes there are old patterns, emotional wounds, pressure, exhaustion, relationship dynamics, or simply too much being carried for too long.
I don't believe mental health can be separated from real life
Your relationships, family dynamics, work, responsibilities, stress, finances, environment, and daily pressures all affect how you feel. That is why I always try to understand the full picture of someone’s life, not only one isolated problem.
My background in social work, child development, health science, and education all influence the way I work. I am very science-oriented, but I also believe people need to feel emotionally safe, listened to, and understood.
One of the biggest parts of my work is helping women understand behaviour differently.
Whether it is a child’s behaviour, conflict in a relationship, or your own reactions and emotions, I believe there is usually something underneath that needs understanding, not only judgment or correction.
Sessions with me are relaxed and conversational
I want people to feel comfortable being themselves and sharing what they’re truly feeling. You do not need to worry about being judged or saying the “wrong” thing.
I listen very closely, and often as people talk, they begin connecting things for themselves in a different way. Sometimes I help people see another perspective inside a relationship or family situation. Sometimes I help them notice emotional triggers or patterns they had not fully understood before.
I bring knowledge of neuroscience, development, relationships, and family dynamics, but you are the person who knows your own life and experiences. Therapy is something we build together.
My goal is not perfection.
It is helping things feel clearer, lighter, calmer, and more connected over time.
