Pregnancy
Pregnancy can bring excitement, love, and hope, but it can also bring fear, overwhelm, uncertainty, and a lot of pressure.
For many women, this is the beginning of a huge shift in identity. Even before the baby arrives, there can already be a feeling that life is changing very quickly, and that everyone suddenly has opinions about what you should do, how you should feel, and what kind of mother you should become.
You might be feeling anxious about birth, worried something will go wrong, or scared that you are not ready for what is coming.
You may find yourself overthinking everything.
Sometimes women feel guilty for not enjoying pregnancy the way they thought they would. Sometimes they feel disconnected from themselves, their body, or even the pregnancy itself. Sometimes there is pressure to stay calm and grateful while internally feeling overwhelmed, emotional, scared, or exhausted.

For some, there is fear of the pain, fear of losing control, or fear of something happening to the baby or to themselves. Others feel pressure around making the “right” decisions and become overwhelmed by the amount of information, opinions, and conflicting advice around pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.
My work during pregnancy is not about telling you what kind of birth or mothering experience you should have.
It is about helping you feel more connected to yourself and more able to trust yourself through this transition.
Together, we create space to slow down and understand what is happening emotionally underneath the fear, pressure, anxiety, or overwhelm. We look at your experiences, your beliefs, your relationships, and the expectations you may be carrying into motherhood.
A lot of women also carry fear around birth itself.
I understand that pregnancy doesn't happen separately from real life
You may still be working, caring for others, navigating relationship changes, carrying mental load, or trying to balance everything while preparing for a baby at the same time.
For many women, therapy during pregnancy becomes a space where they can finally stop trying to do everything perfectly and simply be honest about how they are feeling.
Over time, many women begin to feel calmer, more prepared, and more confident in navigating pregnancy, birth, and the transition into motherhood in a way that feels right for them and their family.
