Your children
A lot of women come to therapy because they are worried about their child.
Your child may be having constant tantrums, screaming, refusing to listen, struggling emotionally, fighting with siblings, or becoming angry very quickly. You may feel like you have tried everything and nothing seems to be working.
Often by this stage, you are already exhausted.
You may find yourself becoming more reactive than you want to be, repeating yourself constantly, or feeling guilty after difficult moments with your child.
There is also so much parenting information everywhere now.
Social media, books, and advice from other people. Many women end up feeling overwhelmed by conflicting information and unsure what they are “supposed” to be doing anymore.

One of the biggest parts of my work is helping women understand what may be happening underneath their child’s behaviour.
Children communicate through behaviour long before they are fully able to explain what they are feeling. Often, what looks like “bad behaviour” on the surface is actually frustration, overwhelm, tiredness, emotional dysregulation, stress, or a need for more connection and support.
I often describe part of my work as helping mums “translate” their children.
Not simply reacting to the behaviour itself, but understanding what the child may be trying to communicate underneath it.

Supporting women to feel less overwhelmed
I also understand that parenting does not happen separately from everything else going on in your life. When you are exhausted, emotionally overloaded, or unsupported, family dynamics naturally become harder as well.
Over time, many women begin feeling less overwhelmed by challenging behaviour.
Often, children begin feeling more understood and more connected within the family as well.
