Your relationship

Having children changes relationships in ways many women do not fully expect.

Before children, there is usually more time together, more connection, more space to talk, rest, go out, or simply enjoy being together. Then family life becomes busy very quickly, and many women slowly find themselves moving into survival mode without even realising it.

By the end of the day, everyone is exhausted.

The children finally go to bed, and instead of feeling connected to your partner, there is often just tiredness, frustration, distance, or another list of things that still need to be done. Conversations become about routines, school, money, the house, responsibilities, or problems that need solving.

You may feel like you are carrying the emotional load of the family while also trying to hold the relationship together. Sometimes there is frustration that your partner does not fully understand how much you are carrying. Sometimes there is guilt for feeling angry all the time, disconnected, resentful, or simply too exhausted to keep giving more.

Over time, relationships can start feeling more like co-parenting or managing a household than an actual relationship.

There may be less affection, less friendship, less intimacy, and less space for the relationship itself. Many women also start feeling disconnected from themselves during this stage, not only from their partner.

A big part of my work is helping women understand what may be happening underneath all of this.

Sometimes there is emotional overload that has been building for years. Sometimes there are old patterns, pressure, resentment, unmet needs, exhaustion, or the feeling that there is no space left for you inside family life anymore.
I also understand that relationships do not exist separately from everything else happening around you.

Stress, children, work, mental load, emotional exhaustion, family dynamics, and everyday pressures all affect the way people communicate and connect with each other.

A lot of women begin feeling emotionally alone inside their relationship.

My role is not to tell you what your relationship should look like

It is to help you better understand yourself, your emotional needs, your patterns, and the relationship dynamics that may be contributing to things feeling heavy, disconnected, or overwhelming right now.
